Saturday 22nd May
SuperValu - Man of the Match - 22nd May 08 Stephen O'Driscoll of Durrus U12 O'Driscoll played a pivotal role in Durrus' 3-1 U12 Shield final victory over Lyre Rovers.
Saturday 22nd May
SuperValu - Man of the Match 22nd May 08 Jack O'Mahony of Clonakilty AFC U12 O'Mahony played a starring role in central midfield to help Clonakilty AFC U12's earned a point away to Skibbereen and clinch the SuperValu U12 League title.


Saturday 17th May
SuperValu - Man of the Match Monday 12th May Sean Mannix - Lyre Rovers U16 Mannix played superbly in his right back role and even contributed a goal during Lyre's 3-1 SuperValu U16 Shield final victory over Skibbereen.

SuperValu - Man of the Match Friday 16th May Niall McCarthy Clonakilty AFC U12 McCarthy kept his side in the game with a string of superb stops during Clonakilty AFC's crucial 2-1 victory at home to Bunratty United in the SuperValu U12 Play-Off deciders.

Saturday 10th May
SuperValu - Man of the Match Saturday 10th May Sean Deasy of Skibbereen U12 Deasy played a pivotal role in Skibbereen's brilliant 8-4 victory over Bunratty United and prevent the Schull side from winning the under-12 league title.

SuperValu - Man of the Match Saturday 10th May Rory Baggott of Riverside Athletic U16 Baggott scored a remarkable hat-trick in the final 20 minutes for Riverside Athletic in their 4-3 title winning victory over Bunratty United to win the SuperValu under-16 league for the second year in a row.

Sunday 11th May
SuperValu - Man of the Match Sunday 11th May Kevin Cormican of Lyre Rovers U14 Cormican scored one and lead his side to glory in the SuperValu under-14 play-off decider with Togher Celtic.

SuperValu - Man of the Match Saturday 3rd May Brian Corcoran of Riverside Athletic U16 Corcoran gave a majestic display between the sticks for Riverside Athletic in their 3-1 play-off victory at home to Togher Celtic.

SuperValu - Man of the Match Sunday 4th May David O'Brien of Togher Celtic U14 O 'Brien played superbly in the centre of the park for Togher in their 1-1 U14 play-off draw with Lyre Rovers.

SuperValu - Man of the Match Sunday 4th May Eric Crowley of Drinagh Rangers U14 Crowley played a Captain's role by scoring and then converting the winning penalty in a shoot out victory over Bay rvoers to clinch the SuperValu U14 Shield.

SuperValu - Man of the Match James Hayes of Lyre Rovers U14. The SuperValu Man of the Match award went to James Hayes of Lyre Rovers under-14. Hayes scored a superb hat-trick and along with Shane O’Donovan ran the Skibbereen defence ragged in a memorable 4-2 win for Lyre.

SuperValu - Man of the Match Cian O'Mahony - Togher Celtic U16 The SuperValu Man of the Match award deservedly went to Cian O'Mahony of Togher Celtic U16. O'Mahony rescued his side with two expertly taken goals in the last 5 minutes of a pulsating encounter to send Togher top of the SuperValu under-16 Play-Offs.

SuperValu - Man of the Match Barry O’Leary of Leeside U12 The SuperValu Man of the Match award for Saturday 12th of April went to Barry O’Leary of Leeside U12's. O’Leary scored a superb hat-trick and was a constant menace for the Ardfield defence all afternoon.

SuperValu - Man of the Match Under12 Cup Final: The SuperValu Man of the Match award for the U12 Cup final went to Conor O’Driscoll of Bunratty United for his inspiring hat-trick and all round excellent performance.

SuperValu - Man of the Match Under16 Cup Final: The SuperValu Man of the Match award for the U16 Cup final went to Sean Crowley of Togher Celtic under-16. Crowley in fact missed the cup final through illness but was an integral part of his side’s march to Cup glory.

SuperValu - Man of the Match : Seamus Murphy of Drinagh Rangers U12 Murphy typified Drinagh's never say die attitude with a series of superb tackles to deny Lyre Rovers a succession of chances. The right back shone for the visiting side in an otherwise disappointing day for the Cannon Crowley Park outfit.

SuperValu - Man of the Match : Dan MacEoin of Skibbereen U14 Captain of Skibbereen under-14, Dan MacEoin versus Lyre Rovers in the under-14 Cup final. MacEoin had a tremendous game in the heart of the Skibbereen defence. The Skibb Captain led by example from his centre back role and converted a penalty to seal his side's U14 Cup victory.

SuperValu - Man of the Match : James Hayes - LyreRovers U14 Hayes shone in his side's 1-0 win over Drinagh Rangers playing in an unaccustomed role of sentral midfield.

SuperValu - Man of the Match : Shane Galvin of Leeside U16. Galvin produced a remarkable performance between the sticks for Leeside, pulling off a string of exceptional saves to prevent a heavier defeat for his side.

SuperValu - Man of the Match : Martin O'Donovan of Lyre Rovers U14. O'Donovan captained Lyre Rovers to a memorable 2-1 semi final victory and caused the Bunratty defence countless problems with his enthusiastic running and general link-up play.

SuperValu - Man of the Match: James O’Donovan of Leeside U12. O’Donovan put in a first class defensive display in the right back position and enjoyed a tremendous game.

SuperValu - Man of the Match: David Collins of Togher Celtic U16. Collins orchestrated Celtic's one-sided victory with a fantastic display in the centre of the park.

SuperValu - Man of the Match: Sean Ryan of Riverside Athletic U14 The SuperValu Man of the Match award went to Sean Ryan of Riverside Athletic U14. Ryan played a pivotal role in his side's 2-0 defeat of Clonakilty Youths in Balineen. Ryan put in an all-action display from centre-back, defending superbly and joining the Riverside attack on numerous occasions.

*2nd February 2008*
SuperValu - Man of the Match: Kevin Cormican of Lyre Rovers U14. Cormican scored one goal and was involved in all of Lyre's best moves in a hard earned victory. The Lyre midfielder battled away all afternoon with Owen Hartnett in the centre of the park and his determination eventually swung the cup tie in Rovers' favour.

SuperValu - Man of the Match: Cian Dineen of Leeside Under16. SuperValu Man of the Match award for 26th January went to Cian Dineen of Leeside U16. Dineen played an important role in Leeside's 4-2 U16 Cup victory over Clonakilty AFC. The central midfielder was at the heart of all Leeside's best moves from the centre of the pitch and capped an excellent performance with a well taken goal.

SuperValu - Man of the Match: Terry O'Donovan of Clonakilty AFC. O'Donovan put in a lion-hearted display at centre back with a series of no nonsense tackles and vital interceptions. The Clonakilty Captain never stopped trying despite the lop-sided score line and stood out amongst the other impressive individual displays.

SuperValu - Man of the Match: Finbarr Butler, Clonakilty Youths U14. Despite his side's heavy defeat to Skibbereen in the U14 Cup, Butler still managed to put in an excellent individual performance and was a constant threat to the Skibb defence.

SuperValu - Man of the Match: Ethan Draper of Lyre Rovers U14. Draper had an influential afternoon in the centre of the pitch and scored twice in Lyre's hard fought 3-1 U14 Cup victory over Clonakilty AFC.

SuperValu - Man of the Match: Darragh Lucey, Captain of Lakewood Athletic U12. Lucey had an influential afternoon in central midfield and played a pivotal role in Athletics’ 3-2 win over Skibbereen.

Kevin Cotter of Togher Celtic U16. Cotter had an influential game at centre back for Togher Celticin their 2-2 draw with Drinagh Rangers. He did an excellent job of marking Gavin Connolly and defended superbly all afternoon..

Eddie Goggin of Bunratty Utd U14. Len Lipitch of Bunratty United (left) presents the SuperValu Man of the Match award to Eddie Goggin of Bunratty Utd U14 for Saturday 24th November 2007. Goggin netted all 4 of the home side's goals and had an influential afternoon in the centre of the park in Bunratty United’s 4-1 victory over Lyre Rovers.

Jason Minihane-Skibbereen U14. Jason played superbly throughout and set Skibbereen U14s on the road to victory with well taken goals in the first half of their 6-0 win over Buttevant U14 in the U14 National Cup.
