Under12 League Play Offs
This season’s Under12 League kicked off on Saturday the 16th of September. A total of 12 teams entered the competition and split into two groups (A and B) comprising of 6 teams each. Group A: Clonakilty AFC A, Togher Celtic, Leeside, Drinagh Rangers, Lyre Rovers and Durrus. Group B: Bantry Gunners, Skibbereen FC, Clonakilty AFC B, Bunratty United, Riverside Athletic and Bay Rovers. Each team played one another home and away in their respective groups.

The top two teams in each group qualified to play in a final play-off group for the league title. Teams in the final play-off group played each other once to decide the U12 League Championship. Bantry Gunners, Riverside Athletic, Leeside and Durrus made it through before Bantry Gunners were eventually crowned U12 League Champions after a hard fought 1-0 victory over Leeside in the final league game of the season. The Gunners rounded off their play-off campaign with a vital win thanks to the only goal of the game from Ciaran McElhinney.

Under12 Shield
The remaining 8 teams who failed to qualify for the play-offs entered a knock out competition for the U12 Shield trophy. Skibbereen and Drinagh Rangers made it through to the Shield final with Skibb running out convincing 6-2 winners thanks to goals from Kevin Davis (2), Billy O'Flaherty (2), Mark O'Driscoll and Sean Deasy.

Under12 Cup
All the participating clubs entered the West Cork Schoolboys U12 Cup. Leeside and Riverside Athletic were the surprise finalists in this year's competition. Leeside accounted for Clonakilty AFC B, Lyre Rovers and Bunratty United on their way to the final. Riverside Athletic overcame the challenge of Skibbereen, Clonakilty AFC A and Bantry Gunners before taking on Leeside in the showpiece event at the U12 grade.

A tremendous hat-trick from Conor O'Neill inspired Riverside Athletic to a 3-1 victory over Leeside. O'Neill's man of the match performance proved to be the difference between two evenly matched sides in a cracking cup final. Sean O’Leary replied with a late consolation effort for Leeside.

Under14 League Play Offs
Drinagh Rangers dominated the U14 grade this season by completing a West Cork Schoolboys U14 League and Cup double. The Rangers Schoolboy team emulated the achievements of both their junior and Ladies teams who also recorded league and cup doubles to round off a remarkable year for the Drinagh club. The U14 League competition was similar in setup to the U12 grade. 10 teams split into two groups (A and B) comprising of 5 teams each. Group A: Togher Celtic, Skibbereen FC, Lyre Rovers, Clonakilty AFC A and Bantry Gunners. Group B: Bunratty United, Drinagh Rangers, Riverside Athletic, Bay Rovers and Clonakilty AFC B. Each team played one another home and away in their respective groups guaranteeing a minimum of 8 games.

Togher Celtic and Skibbereen FC qualified for the U14 play-offs from Group A and were joined by Bunratty United and Drinagh Rangers from Group B. Each of the 4 teams played one another once in a round-robin tournament to decide the U14 league title. Drinagh Rangers were crowned West Cork Schoolboys U14 League Champions following a hard fought 2-0 win at home to Bunratty United on the final Saturday of the league season. Derek Crowley and Gavin Connolly scored the winning goals but Bunratty deserved huge credit for pushing Drinagh all the way in a tight match.

Under14 Shield
The clubs who failed to reach the U14 play-offs were entered into a knockout competition for the U14 Shield trophy. Lyre Rovers qualified for the final thanks to a 4-1 victory over Clonakilty AFC A in the semi finals. Riverside Athletic made it to the final courtesy of a 5-1 win over Bantry Gunners in the second semi. Lyre Rovers eventually lifted the West Cork Schoolboys U14 Shield trophy after a thrilling 4-3 win over Riverside Athletic played in Lyre. Three second half goals from Ethan Draper, Owen Hartnett and Sean O'Donovan were enough to hold off a spirited fight back from a gallant Riverside Athletic despite late efforts from Gearoid Harrington, Michael O'Driscoll and John Shannon.

Under14 Cup
Drinagh Rangers completed their double with a victory in the West Cork Schoolboys U14 cup final in Kealkil over Togher Celtic. Rangers ran out deserving 4-1 winners over a gallant Togher side to round off an historic season and lift the U14 cup trophy kindly sponsored by Bateman’s Central Shoe Stores. A brace from Man of the Match - John Harrington and further efforts from Paul Crowley and Brian Kingston earned Drinagh their victory. Declan Coughlan replied for Togher Celtic.

Under16 League PlayOffs
Riverside Athletic were crowned deserving West Cork Schoolboys U16 League Champions after a fantastic end of season play-off tournament. Skibbereen lifted the U16 Cup and Bay Rovers retained the U16 Shield trophy they won the previous year. The U16 league proved one of the most competitive of all the Schoolboy’s grades with some scintillating football being played throughout the season.

The U16 league comprised of 9 teams: Skibbereen FC, Togher Celtic, Bunratty United, Riverside Athletic, Clonakilty AFC, Drinagh Rangers, Bay Rovers, Lyre Rovers and Leeside. Each side played one another twice, home and away with the top 4 ranked teams going forward to the U16 play-offs to decide the title. Skibbereen FC, Togher Celtic, Bunratty United, Riverside Athletic finished in the top four positions and played off in a round robin tournament at the end of the season. Skibbereen entered the play-offs as hot favourites having won all 8 of their regular league games. Riverside Athletic had other ideas though. Athletic defeated Skibb away 1-0 and then Togher Celtic 2-1 with the last kick of the game from Kevin O’Donovan. Riverside defeated Bunratty United 4-3 in a gripping contest to win this season's West Cork Schoolboys U16 League in Schull on the final Saturday of the season. Kevin O'Donovan grabbed Riverside's winner, late in the game, to claim the title for the Balineen side. Riverside are worthy U16 Champions having won all 3 of their U16 play-off games. Athletic left it late in many of their matches this season but were rewarded for their attacking efforts.

Under16 Shield
The teams who failed to qualify for the play-offs entered the U16 Shield knockout competition. Bay Rovers made it to the final after a titanic 4-4 struggle with Clonakilty AFC in the semi finals. Bay eventually triumphed after a penalty shoot out. They were joined in the final by Drinagh Rangers who accounted for Leeside 4-0 in the second semi final. Bay Rovers retained the U16 Shield trophy they won last season with a convincing 4-1 victory over Drinagh Rangers in Kealkil. Shaun O’Sullivan, Mark Delaney, Joseph Coughlan and James Horgan were amongst the goals in Bay’s victory.

Under16 Cup
The West Cork Schoolboys U16 Cup competition involved all 9 teams from the U16 grade. Skibbereen continued their excellent league form into the cup and qualified for the final having overcome the challenge of Bunratty United and Riverside Athletic. Togher Celtic were the opposition in the Cup final after victories over Drinagh Rangers and Bay Rovers in the previous rounds. Skibbereen defeated Togher Celtic 2-0 in the West Cork Schoolboys U16 Cup final in Kealkil. Goals in either half from Gerard Minihane and Danny O'Donovan earned Skibbereen the U16 Cup trophy.
